Hebrew School Enrichment
For existing Hebrew Schools, an “edutainment” expert visits classes monthly, equipped with thought provoking activities and discussions that bring to life basic concepts of Jewish culture and religion. Making Judaism relevant for children who attend public schools.
Shabbatons
Children experience Shabbos, sometimes for the first time. On a JEP-LI Shabbaton, children enjoy the sumptuous Shabbat meals; get the attention of a group that really cares for one another; partake in intellectually stimulating activities; and, of course, get a great big dose of fun and friends.
Suri Schwartz Jewish Individualized Learning (JIL) Centers
Voluntary Jewish learning with knowledgeable mentors who care. Jewish Individualized Learning Centers (JIL) are located in 15 convenient Long Island locations were we offer free weekly one-hour sessions where children learn “resource room” style. Guided by the staff, they study Jewish topics of their choice and the Hebrew language.
Nageela National Network of Camps
An affiliation of camps promoting Jewish involvement, including Camp Nageela – A top of the line sleep away camp in upstate NY. A summer experience that lasts a lifetime, on many occasions this requires the utilization of the Yetta Broitman Camp Scholarships – No Jewish child should be denied a Jewish camping experience
